If you have spotted a technical team at work near the site of the Arena in recent weeks, these were expert contractors undertaking a geophysical survey of the site and approach roads to locate any hidden underground mine workings or other sub-structural weaknesses which could affect the project design and costs. Work was slightly delayed by the snow but has now been completed. The work has been commissioned by Glasgow City Council Land and Environmental Services who are supporting the Arena development project.
